SSC GD Constable Exam 2024

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is conducting the SSC GD Constable Exam 2024 for the recruitment of 26,146 Constable (GD) in various Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), Rifleman (GD) in the Indian Border Security Force (IBSF), and Sepoy (GD) in the NIA (Special Protection Group).

Educational Qualification: 10th Pass

The SSC GD Constable Exam 2024 will be completed in three stages

Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT)

• The CBT will be held online from February 20 to March 7, 2024.
• The CBT will be of 1 hour duration.
• The CBT will consist of 80 objective-type questions carrying 2 marks each.
• There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
• The CBT will be conducted in Hindi and English languages.

The CBT Exam Pattern

• General Intelligence and Reasoning: 20 questions
• General Knowledge and General Awareness: 20 questions
• Elementary Mathematics: 20 questions
• English/Hindi Language: 20 questions

Stage 2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

• Only candidates who qualify for the CBT will be called for the PET.

• The PET will be conducted to assess the physical fitness of the candidates.

• The PET will consist of the following tests:

  • Running: 800 meters for men and 400 meters for women
  • High Jump: 110 cm for men and 80 cm for women
  • Push-ups: 17 for men and 12 for women

Stage 3: Medical Examination

• Only candidates who qualify for the PET will be called for the Medical Examination.
• The Medical Examination will be conducted to assess the medical fitness of the candidates.
